What a powerful sentiment! I’m almost certain that many, if not all, of us at some stage in our life has had this same thought. You thought you were an amazing athlete until you rose to the level where you just couldn’t compete.
Confession. I’m one of those “I wish I read more books than I do” guys.
I know, my head is in my hands as I know how much great material is on the billions of pages of written material. That’s why it’s so exciting when I do grab a book AND it is more than what I hoped for!
